The federal government of Pakistan had reached a four-point agreement with Khadim Hussain Rizvi, former head of Tehreek-e-Lubaik Pakistan, on November 16, 2020, demanding the deportation of the French ambassador to Islamabad. The French ambassador was to be sent back after the legislation was passed by the parliament.
In October last year, a French history teacher was assassinated for showing controversial sketches of the Prophet of Islam in his classroom, after French President Emmanuel McChrystal promised to protect the country's secular values.
The products of France were also boycotted by the people of several Islamic countries, including Pakistan, while the Pakistani Foreign Office had summoned the French ambassador to Pakistan and recorded a strong protest.
Meanwhile, Tehreek-e-Libek reminded the government not to back down from its agreement and fulfill its promise and deport the French ambassador as promised, but instead of keeping its promise, the government Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi was arrested and then the main sit-in in Orphanage Chowk Lahore and then protests and sit-ins started all over Pakistan. Then a video statement was released by the Federal Interior Minister in which Sheikh Rashid claimed in a video statement that Tehreek-e-Labeek would end the sit-ins from all over the country and especially from the Rehmat-ul-Alamin Mosque in Lahore. Talks and negotiations will be taken forward.
Meanwhile, the European Parliament passed a resolution against Pakistan and threatened Pakistan that we would end Pakistan's GSP Plus status. But a review meeting of the European Parliament's resolution on GSP status was held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of Pakistan. The meeting decided that there would be no compromise on the law protecting the honor of the Prophet and declaring the Qadianis as infidels. Ending, protection of minorities, 8 agreements including women were discussed. With the approval of the Legislative Committee, the drafts will be presented to the Assembly soon.
The Pakistani government could not pass a resolution to expel the French ambassador but passed a resolution against Pakistan in the European Parliament.
When we talk about the eviction of the French ambassador, the European Parliament passes a joint resolution, which also calls on the government of Pakistan to "call for an end to violence and discrimination against religious minorities in the country." Condemns provocation and expresses "deep concern" over anti-French sentiment in Pakistan. But the same European Parliament does not see the current Israeli aggression and atrocities, and there is complete silence and apathy not only in the European Parliament but also in the Muslim world and internationally.
But a month ago, the Lahore High Court ordered the release of Saad Hussain Rizvi, head of the Tehreek-e-Libek, but the government detained him for another three months despite the court's decision.
Supporters of TLP make world trend on Twitter & tweeted more than 1.5 millions in a day against the illegitimate prison of Saad Rizvi.
Tehreek-e-Labeek workers say that our demand from Imran Khan is to come on screen and announce the agreement with TLP in the same way. Kept ?? For what crime is he being persecuted ??? Relief to Shahbaz Sharif on the verdict of the court on Sunday and detention of Saad Hussain Rizvi against the verdict of the three-member bench of the court Where is the justice? Is democracy? Allama Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi has been illegally detained for 110 days. The Hon'ble High Court Justice had ruled that Saad Hussain Rizvi should be released.
But so far he has not been released by the government. Every criminal is roaming freely in Pakistan at the moment but the real leader of Pakistan Saad Hussain Rizvi has been illegally detained by the government for four months and the courts are silent. Can do nothing but This is the worst example of injustice. People involved in anti-state activities are allowed to hold public meetings and do not take any action despite chanting against Pakistan every day. But why this oppression on Saad Hussain Rizvi?
