The name of this person was Grami Sharafuddin, the title is Muslehuddin and the surname is Saadi. And

The world generally knows him by the name of Sheikh Saadi Rah.

He was born in the Iranian city of Shiraz in the year 1184 in the house of Abdullah Shirazi.

His father, Abdullah Shirazi, worked for Saad Zangi, the ruler of the country.

Sheikh Saadi was fond of literature and poetry since his childhood

Since then, he had suggested the nickname "Saadi" by the name of the ruling time.

Later, after the death of his father in his early childhood, he received his early education from the ulema of Shiraz and then came to Baghdad from Shiraz where he received his jurisprudential education from the famous teacher Abdul Rahman bin Jozi.

 Seeing the invasion of Baghdad by the Tatars and the destruction of the Muslims, he was saddened by the decline of the Muslims. Just to explain.

As much as Sheikh Saadi has advocated goodness and benevolence, he was also a practical and realistic thinker. The period in which Sheikh Saadi was living was a period of extreme violence and brutality. He spent the next thirty years of his life traveling.

One of the reasons for his long stay outside the homeland was the lack of law and order in Shiraz and its environs. This was the reign of Muzaffaruddin Saad bin Zangi.

When Saad Zangi died in 1236, the Annan government was taken over by his son Muzaffaruddin Abu Bakr bin Saad bin Zangi.

He consulted with the Tartars

He saved Persia from massacres and the people of Persia got peace and order.

When the news of his justice reached far and wide, Sheikh Saadi came up with the idea of ​​returning home and the love of homeland finally brought him to Shiraz.

You lived almost a hundred years. In which he studied for thirty years, spent thirty years in tourism, thirty years in writing writings, and spent the rest of his life in seclusion.

One is the proof of his greatness that even today, almost 800 years later, his book Gulistan is included in the curriculum in one form or another in countries outside Iran. Sheikh Saadi Rah is very famous for his golden sayings which are part of the most famous "Bani Adam" and "Gulistan".

Many autumn seasons have passed since Saadi wrote Gulistan and Bostan, but his wisdom according to his predictions after returning to Shiraz centuries ago.

And these books, full of wisdom, have stood the test of time.

An Arabic quatrain of Sheikh Saadi is very famous.

Translation:

Reached the heights, he; with his perfection

The darkness has been dispelled by your beauty

All your habits and traditions are very sweet

Peace be upon you and your family

It is a well-known incident that he recited three verses in praise of the Prophet, despite his best efforts, the fourth verse could not be recited and he was very upset. One night, in a dream, he was given the glad tidings of the Holy Servant of the Universe

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is present in person and says to Shaykh Saadi: Saadi, you have said three verses.

When Sheikh Saadi recited the three verses, the Holy Prophet (saws) said, "Increase this verse."

"Prayer"

And thus the Naat Quartet of Hazrat Sheikh Saadi was completed.

Allah Almighty granted the honorable acceptance of this quatrain of Sheikh Saadi Rah.

The ruler of Multan sent a messenger from India inviting him to come to India, but he apologized for his weakness. He spent the rest of his life in seclusion in a monastery in Shiraz.

It is located on the banks of Raknabad at a distance of one and a half miles.

He was later buried in the same monastery.
