A festival of Lohri Punjab

The Mughal emperor's official planned to kidnap a beautiful Hindu girl and bring her into the harem - Dulla Bhatti was informed he took the girl to his shelter in the jungle - there he married a Hindu boy - this marriage I was neither a parent nor a Pandit. During this time I started reading something different

This is one of the traditions which the Punjabis describe as the background of the Lohri festival which is celebrated in January every year and this song is one of the songs of Lohri. Hindus and Sikhs wait for Lohri all year round. On Lohri day, children go from house to house singing Lohri and taking candies, sweets, and money. In the evening, Lohri songs are sung in remembrance of the furnace around the fire.

The new generation of Pakistani Punjabis whose Muslim Dala Bhatti in the area used to save the honor of others does not even know what Lohri is.

This is the authentic history that is repeated in a systematic way on the occasion of Lohri and other Punjabi festivals.
